Jeff Thomson says Shane Watson is "not an all rounder's arsehole"
Since the tragic death of David Hookes, it seems Jeff Thomson has taken on the role of making appalling statements to the media. This time, Thomson has delivered a scathing attack on Shane Watson, saying:
"I don't rate him. He's not an all rounder's arsehole. He bats OK but his bowling is way below par at top level, so he's not an all rounder ... let's get serious. To me, he plays blokes in."Ah, the eloquence and poetry of 70's cricketers! The Queensland ex-quick also bagged fellow Queenslander Mitchell Johnson, saying he doesn't take wickets. So who does meet with Thommo's approval? Unsurprisingly, it's Shaun Tait, a bowler who has been likened to Thommo with his raw pace and slinging action. Somehow I don't think Tait has quite the mouth on him though.

Well said! Tait is most deserving...Pity Thommo forget to abuse Brett Lee. Lee needs to learn some self control instead of just hurtling the ball down at speed. He could take a page out of Glen McGrath's book - perfect line and length ball after ball after ball for how many years now?!
