W.G. Grace is God
I recently watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail with the director's commentary on (I have a nerdy passion for listening to DVD audio commentaries) and was surprised to learn animator/director Terry Gilliam actually used a photo of W.G. Grace for his animation of God. I think I've even found the actual photo used from his player profile at Cricinfo. Just goes to show how revered The Doctor is in England and rightly so - the guy is like several modern day champions rolled into one.
