Shane Watson in Ashes doubt with hamstring injury

I hate to say "I told you so" (okay, I love saying it) but I did predict chronic hypochondriac Shane Watson would pull a hammy before the First Test. And sure enough, Watson withdrew from the one day match against Western Australia with a hamstring injury. With Damien Martyn also pulling out off the same match with an elbow injury, suddenly the make-up of the Aussie squad is uncertain. Martyn should play but what happens if Watson is unavailable? God forbid they replace him with Andrew Symonds - have the selectors learnt nothing from the last 12 months?! I expect Michael Clarke will slot into the #6 spot as he has shown good form in the last few weeks. Note to the selectors - wrap the rest of the boys in cotton wool until Thursday - what with Harmison pulling out of the warm-up match against South Australia, its looking more and more like this series is going to be decided on injuries.
