Mahesh: new member of cricket-blog team

You may have noticed my cricket blogging activity has dropped off since the World Cup (the 50 over version). This was partly World Cup burn-out but also other projects like Skeptical Science crowding my time. And lately, I've decided to no longer post detailed match reports - it's just too time consuming and doesn't interest me much anymore. Instead, I'll be blogging on miscellaneous cricket news as it comes along (generally, anything that happens that I can make a smart-arse comment on).

So I'm inviting regular visitors to become part of the "cricket-blog team". Our first new member is Mahesh who is 42, an Indian (obviously) and has a wife and son (12 yrs, loves soccer more than cricket).

(I'm told he also likes pina coladas and getting caught in the rain).

Now if you've been a regular commenter on cricket-blog.com and would like to join the team - or have any questions - please feel free to contact me or post a comment here. I welcome cricket fans from any country - in fact, the more countries the better. Should be interesting times ahead!

Hey Tony - I hate it too that my son watches insipid Man United playing Chelsea in his bedroom, when India is playing the indomitable Ozzies in the living room. Another matter altogether that Ozzies are bulldozing India in cricket... (as usual!!)

Will post blogs soon... already, Symo's racism cries in India are mouthwatering enough to blog endlessly. Watch out guys...

Thanks guys. International flavour does come with a lot of spice, more so when it comes from India.

I guess, there will be some clashes of opinions with me giving the Indian perspective... but at the end of the day, we are all cricket lovers, aren't we?

So, lets' just enjoy the game, while having a light banter here and there...

My first blog is on Super Symo, as many would have expected..
