The Really Tough Cricket Quiz - 1
In conformity with our idea yesterday, I present to you the first edition of "The Really tough Cricket Quiz". cricket-blog's authors can host the weekly quiz on a rotation basis.
Re the quiz itself, someone with a bit of patience can find any answer on google or statsguru, so I've tried my best to frame the questions in a non-google friendly way. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm privileged at hosting our first quiz and here goes the first salvo!
There are 5 questions in increasing order of difficulty.
1)Who was the man responsible for changing the destiny of the 2005 ashes by throwing that ill fated rugby ball which led to Glenn McGrath's injury?
2)Who remains the only cricketer to score double hundreds in both innings of a first class game?
3)Name the Englishman who has had the distinction of captaining his country in both football and cricket.
4)Who is the only cricketer ever to clear the lords pavillion with a six?
5)Who is the only batsman in history to outscore the entire opposition team in each innings of a test match? (This is probably the only really tough one)
Actually, In discordance with the name, here are 5 pretty easy questions but which are hard to google, I hope.
If the answer to any question still remains a mystery, I'll post them on Monday.

Hayden did it only in the first, but didn't bat in the second, so that doesn't count.

I've modified the question a little bit so that it's easier to understand.

If I remember right, he scored 191 in the first innings and Pakistan collapsed to 179.
In the second innings he scored 97 (Marto 100*!)and Pakistan were pigeon'ed for 72 all out.

but if u look at it that way i rem a game rather vaguely where inzamam got that 329 and NZ could only achieve 70 odd in the first innings and 250 something in the second.
well inzy batted just once and his one innings outscored both the innings of the oppositions and in the case of matty hayden u add both scores it doesnt sum up his score.
now does this count or does the batsman HAVE to play TWO innings???

According to your conditions, 4 people have, in one inninngs outscored the opposition total in both innings combined.
