India vs Australia, 3rd Test, Day 2
Australia took 2 wickets in the first hour of yesterday's play. For the next 5+ hours, we proceeded to take just one more wicket. A bleak day for Australia's bowlers. Gotta feel for Cameron White - after getting caned, Punter only gave him 4 overs for the whole day. He sure knows how to show faith in his bowlers (I'm remembering 3 overs for Shaun Tait over an entire Ashes Test). How will Day 2 fare? Live score courtesy of Cricinfo.

Well day 2 seems to be going India's way till now. 393 for 3 at lunch. Though I must say the track is a bealter and Aussie attack much below par. No reverse swing and no good spinners in their side. Looks tough for the Aussies.
On the other hand India has 2 quality spinners and 2 pacemen who can reverse the ball and 1 of them gets some good bounce from dead tracks also. On top of that the wicket will only deteriorate, though not much.
Interesting game, it will be.

2 quick wickets. Can Aussies restrict India below 500.

Not necessarily Praveen. They can still draw this match as the track is good for batting. But Victory is not quite difficult

JC - Kotla Proves yet again to be Burial ground of Bowlers. Aussie Batters will have to show firm grit from this point. Draw is on cards, but all depends on how Australian batting order grafts their innings.
